This is the first delivery in the village of Kodema. 5 km from the frontline. Vera Petrovna, 71 y.o. She lives alone, her husband died 2 years ago. Her daughter with a grandson live in Svetlodarsk which is 15 km away. Vera’s problems with health are: varicose veins, problems with blood vessels and diabetes. Most of the time she is capable only to walk to a nearby store to buy bread and back home. This is why once a week her daughter visits her to help her around the house. Her daughter works in a post office, her salary is minimal. Vera’s retirement payment is 1500 UAH (53$) – barely enough to cover food and bills for electricity. That’s why she is extremely grateful for the coal delivered which was so helpful. Thank you all for your help!
