The last bell and the first bell are traditions in Ukraine. This tradition represents the starting and finishing of school. The oldest male student carries the youngest female student and they ring the first bell . Traditionally there are dances, singing, and performances.
Kind House participated in helping with the celebrations of the last bell in Poltava orphanage №2. We helped to purchase ribbons, flowers, a graduation photo album for the students and foods and drinks for their celebration. Thanks to all for all you are doing to help our kids know they are loved and cared about!
