Ljudmila Ivanovna

Lyudmila Ivanovna, 67 y.o. She is on disability 2 category. She lives with her brother Ivan Ivanovich who is 65 y.o. He is also on disability. Both live in the town of Mariinka. Before the war Ivan Ivanovich lived in the town of Krasnogorovka which is near Mariinka. Because of the shelling his apartment has been destroyed completely. He moved to his sister’s place – to Lyudmila Ivanovna. That time their mother was alive. In June 2014 the fightings in Mariinka were especially hard and the old man were hiding in the basement. On the 28th of June 2014 their mother died, because of the shelling they couldn’t burry her body for 3 days. Retirement payment of Lyudmila is 1432 UAH (51$) per month. Retirement payment of Ivan is 1370 UAH (48$) per month. Lyudmila and Ivan are so much grateful for the coal because out of the economy he was collecting branches of trees on the streets to heat up the house.
